As usual today i have opened my tv and was watching the astro programmes... clock struck 9 then my hand has turned the channel to astro vaanavil... an in house programme called ivargalum herothan on air... Today's programme was on a life of blindman... the story has touched my heart... so i want to share this story with my friends here... The man is not blind by nature but have been slapped by his teacher when 8 years old.. so from tat time on he has been facing tis problem. Later when 11 years old he has been transfered to blind school and there is the place where he met his wife who is also a blind. They have married although has objection from their family but they have survived. They are gifted with 2 children and they are in a good position now. The man is still working goin to office and work as a telephone operator in a company although has been retired. this story has inpired me to not to be down in watever situation tis remind me the story of abraham lincoln who has been failed 49 times before turn to be a prime minister.. when people asked about tat he said if he won in his first attempt he woulndnt end up in tis position and will b stop there... wat an inspiring story... k bye

Petition to Prime Minister ~ Phase II

Dear Animal Lovers and Advocates,As you may be aware, the SPCA started a petition to the prime minster to raise the cruelty fine from RM200 to a significantly higher fine of around RM10,000.00. The petition, which included the signatures of supporters, was supposed to be handed to the prime minister in October 2004.

However, this has not happened, as we only managed to raise 20,000 signatures. Due to the insufficient number of signatures collected during the first phase of this petition, the SPCA is entering a second phase in hope to collect at least 100,000 signatures locally and internationally.Therefore, we are now entering a phase II stage of the petition whereby we would like you to join our effort for this cause. Please download the petition forms. Kindly photocopy it and distribute it for signatures to be collected. The more names we have, the better.

Please ensure that those who have already signed the form during the first phase of the petition do not sign the petition again.All forms should be signed, signatures counted and returned to the SPCA by September 2006.We need your every support as we try our best to stop these cruel acts and t punish those who do injustice to these helpless animals. Today is quite a busy day for me. uni election is goin on today. I felt so bored. Yesterday slept at 3.30 am and waked up by my friends call asking me to accompany her to a col coz she was a wakil calon for a faculty candidate. Sitting at lobby until 12.00pm and gt nothing to do just chatting with my frens. Having lunch at dewan makan which is a chicken (dun kno what was that) as usual tasteless. Went back rum and ready for clas at 2pm. Clas was quit borin as nothing much has been taught and we were asked to do some discussion among group members. Then have to go and wait for my fren at collegue and have to wait until 5.15 for the boxes to be taken to dtc. Then cumin back to col and wait for the dinner to be served. the dinner was fish and we knew that it will taste awful. We decided to go to eat at supper stall. then take my bath and doin my maths assignment. Nw waitin to go to take my dinner, dame hungry.

"Dalam Kehadiran Sofiah" is the first novel that i manage to read in this year. The story is about a couple that sacrify their happiness to grow up their child named Sofiah who is a cerebral palsy kid. The story mainly focus on the problems faced by parents to grow up their child with special need. it is a nice story and should be read by everyone, so that they understand about the special kids. Often, many people sees a special kid like a disgusted object. They didn't really understand about them. Thats the main problem in malaysians nowadays. at overseas the goverment over there has build lot of specialities for disabled peoples. even the publics over there has took a good care of them. But in malaysia so far we can count with fingers on the emnities that build for them. As human beings we should change our view on disabled people and should treat them as a normal human beings in the world.

Confused

Dun kno y today early morning i was recalling what has happened last year and i realised that i was a fool and i am fooled by so many people until i didnt realise it. The person that i trust has shown his true colours when my help is not needed. Tears dropped all over me and then i am keep blaming me all over the night. i have decided that i am goin to concentrate on my studies n no more projects and activities.....

Yesterday was my busiest day ever. My clas begin at 8 am and my first clas was mathematics for preschoolars, there was presentation on hw to plan activities for preschoolars. my groups topic was conservation of numbers and we heve present some activities based on that. After that techno group has to go to Rumah Insaniah Tun Dr siti hasmah at PJ to find our target who is children with special needs. Our task is to create a educational software for them using multimedia builder. I felt so sad when i first enter the classroom. All the kids there were having problems such as cerebral palsy, selow learner, sydrome down, autism and so on. My eyes full of tears when my stopped in front of a cerebral palsy kid. The kid was so cute like a barbie doll and she was 4 years old end her name is natasya. She was accompanied by her mother.

Basicallay cerebral palsy kids growth not as a normal kids growth. So many kids here are wieh special needs and the taechers here has took a good care on them. Me and sherene my partner choose amirul, 8 years old kid, an autism kid as our responden.

After we surveyed him we went back to faculty and i have to go to my next clas critical thinking by Dr Swindall. After the clas me manusha n dhanes having our lunch at arts fac cafe and then went back to coll. I felt into sleep and i woke up at 6pm. After take my bath i get my things packed as i am goin home to celebrate ponggal festivel.

Review of week 1

First of all i feel that my 1st week at my campus is boring. My clas is until friday, but i cannot stick to tat and went back home early, maybe i gt homesick or missing my pet kuyo. Monday, gt only one clas at 2pm but i have to wake up early and have to do some work on my project and the entire day i felt so tored b'coz have to go around the whole campus. Tuesday, clas until 6.30pm n meeting until 10.30 pm,huh wat a tough day!!! Wednesday clas is on 11pm but the clas was quite borin, i had deal with tis lecturer since my 1st year 1st sem, as usual i have to work on my assignment on my own, cannot really rely on her. Thursday, same as tuesday, clas is until 6.30 pm n i was happy coz i am goin home!!! tats all for this week, hoping for the 2nd week to go smoothly........

Oh my god, today i feel so sad and feel alone. Today i entered my collegue and i feel today is my worst day of life. I feel like i am left alone. so many tasks behind me. I feel like i shouldnt enter tis university,i should remain as a teacher. Arggggghhhh pls help me, some kind of peculiar feeling rule me. Please help me to cross tis section of life god!!!!!!

Queen Cleopatra of Egypt Queen Cleopatra of Egypt is the most well known of all the ancient egyptian queens. Cleopatra was born in Alexandria in 69 B.C. during the reign of the Ptolemy family to Ptolemy VII. Cleopatra appears to have been a popular name in the family, as her mother bore the name as well as an older sister, making the new daughter Cleopatra the Seventh, although she is rarely referred to as such. Cleopatra and her family were not Egyptian, but rather Macedonian, descended through a general of Alexander the Great. Cleopatra would become the first ruler of her family who could actually speak the Egyptian language. In keeping with ancient Egyptian tradition, Queen Cleopatra of Egypt married her then 12 year old brother. The marriage was not truly legitimate, however and considering the young age of her new husband and co-inheritor of the throne, Cleopatra rule Egypt independently and as she wished. This lasted for only three short years before Cleopatra received the same fate as her father and was exiled, along with another younger sister. Her 15 year old brother and husband remained to rule Egypt. Cleopatra escaped to Syria, however she did not intend to give up without a fight. The events that soon followed are quite legendary. Cleopatra's brother, Ptolemy, became involved with a bitter war between Julius Caesar, and a former friend, Pompey. Ptolemy took sides with Caesar and had Pompey killed, hoping to curry favor with the Roman leader. The plan backfired on him. Julius Caesar was so enraged by the murder of Pompey; he immediately took control of the Egyptian palace and ordered Queen Cleopatra of Egypt and Ptolemy to present themselves to him. The history of Cleopatra is one that has been the subject of novels and movies and is filled with deception, intrigue and romance. The historical biography of Cleopatra suggests she obtained the throne of Egypt through some rather violent means. When her father was briefly exiled following a rebellion, an older sister took the throne. Following their father's return and reclaim of the throne, the sister was put to death. The second of the three women in the family to carry the same name, Cleopatra VI, died around the same time as well; although the cause remains a mystery. This left Cleopatra the Seventh as the oldest child in her family, with a brother who was several years younger. About four years later, their father died and Cleopatra took control of the throne. Absolute chaos ensued in the Roman Empire following the assassination. One of the three men poised to take the throne of Rome, Mark Anthony ordered Cleopatra back to Rome for questioning. Once again displaying her political savvy and intelligence, Queen Cleopatra of Egypt made plans to seduce Mark Anthony. She donned the garb of Venus, the Goddess of Love and was completely successful in her attempt to seduce her would be inquisitor. Of all the costumes Egyptian Cleopatra has been portrayed in, this is the most famous. The full costume of Cleopatra, dressed as Venus, is vividly remembered when Elizabeth Taylor wore a reproduction in her famous portrayal of the queen. The film was so successful in memorializing the queen and her seductive costume, that historical Cleopatra costumes have remained popular ever since.

Taj Mahal - The Symbol of Love

Taj Mahal India - Located at Agra in Uttar Pradesh, the Taj Mahal is one of the most splendid masterpieces of architecture in the world. It was Emperor Shah Jehan who ordered the building of the Taj Mahal, in honor of his beloved wife, Arjumand Banu who was later known as Mumtaz Mahal, which means, the Distinguished of the Palace. One of the greatest monuments of India has been listed amongst the eight wonders of the world. This monument was built in the name of love and devotion. Do you know which is this grand Mughal monument situated in the heart of India? It is the Taj Mahal. It is considered to be one amongst the eight most majestic historical structures of the world. This white marble structure was the Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan’s, gift for his dead wife – Mumtaz Mahal. He loved his wife so much that he ordered for the best of artisans to create a design as there has never been, and something that cannot be replicated. Having rejected hundreds of designs he finally approved of this blue print. He is said to have personally monitored the construction of this building. The most expensive white marble was brought to Agra. The structure combines ingredients of Persian, India, Islamic and Turkish styles of architecture. It took twenty-two years to complete the construction of this architectural wonder. As per the records twenty thousand people were employed to work on this magnanimous project, which cost the Mughal emperor thirty-two million Rupees. According to the official documents, Ustad Isa was the master architect. In 1983, this grand monument was announced by UNESCO to be one amongst the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. It was cited by the authorities as: "The jewel of Muslim art in India and one of the universally admired masterpieces of the world's heritage." And thereafter it attained global fame as one of the seven wonders of the world. Between to two to four million tourists visit Agra, every year, to see this structure. World leaders ensure that visiting this global tourist spot is a part of their plan when visiting India. On her last visit to India, Lady Diana spent a long time in front of the Taj Mahal, simply admiring its grandeur.
